DataRain-4000 is a professional electronic weighing rain gauge designed in line with WMO recommendations for high-accuracy precipitation monitoring. It combines a high-precision C3 load cell with an automatic self-emptying system, providing virtually unlimited cumulative measurement with minimal maintenance—even during extreme rainfall events up to 2000 mm/h.
Thanks to the weighing principle, the sensor delivers permanent calibration, maintaining up to 0.001 mm resolution and 0.02% weighing accuracy across the full range. Two versions are available with 200 cm² or 400 cm² collecting area, featuring ultra-low power consumption and an optional smart, energy-efficient heater controlled by an internal temperature probe for reliable all-weather operation. Multiple outputs and protocols make DataRain-4000 easy to integrate into new or existing monitoring networks.
