The SPPM-PV is a dedicated system for monitoring dirt (soiling) on photovoltaic modules, designed to help plant operators identify the optimal cleaning time by quantifying energy loss caused by accumulated dust and dirt.

The SPPM-PV control unit works with a METEODATA-4000 datalogger, enabling reliable field operation and streamlined data handling with the GEO-DataView software suite for configuration, data recovery and visualisation..

Soiling is assessed using two identical reference PV modules – a CLEAN panel kept regularly clean and a SOILED panel cleaned only with the rest of the plant – so the calculated soiling directly reflects real plant behaviour and delivers site-specific results.

Key features
