The SMARTBOX-8CH (SB-8CH) is a smart sensor interconnection unit designed to optimise field installations where sensors must be deployed far from the data logger.
By concentrating up to eight smart Modbus sensors on a single RS-485 (Modbus RTU) bus, it reduces cabling, voltage drops and installation complexity while keeping communication robust and reliable.

- Four versions (SB-8CH-1/2/3/4) to match different layouts, distances and power requirements, including LoRa/ZigBee options for very long links (up to 5 km line-of-sight, model dependent)
- Integrated power distribution, configurable termination and surge protection for dependable outdoor operation
- Optional optical isolation and RS-485 signal regeneration for long runs and electrically noisy environments
- Rugged IP68 polycarbonate enclosure with IP66 cable glands and mounting hardware for mast or wall installation
