Humidity and dew point probe for compressed air pipes

S.481.2

Humidity and dew point probe for compressed air pipes, measuring -40...+60 °C dew point and temperature with G 1/2" threading, 2 m cable and 15\mu sintered AISI 316 stainless steel filter.

Introduction

Compressed air and pipe monitoring need a probe that can sit directly in the process and deliver the humidity data needed for confident control. S.481.2 measures humidity and dew point in compressed air systems or pipes, supporting reliable environmental supervision when paired with compatible HD2717 or HD2817 transmitters.

The probe covers -40...+60 °C for temperature and dew point measurement. Dew point accuracy is ±2 °C DP from -40...0 °C DP and ±1 °C DP from 0...+20 °C DP at T = 20 °C, giving users a clear performance basis for air quality and process monitoring tasks.

Installation is defined by a 2 m cable and G 1/2" threading. The 15\mu sintered AISI 316 stainless steel filter protects the sensing area in pipe applications, while the 1...8 bar working pressure range makes the probe suitable for compressed air measurement points within its specified limits.

Pipe-ready sensing
