HD48 transmitters are designed for temperature and humidity control in conditioning and ventilation applications (HVAC/BEMS) in the following sectors: pharmacy, museums, clean rooms, ventilation ducts, industrial and civil sectors, crowded places, canteens, auditoria, gyms, high-density farms, greenhouses, etc.

The models of the HD48.. series are active transmitters and accept both direct and 24Vac alternating power supply; they have standard current (4…20mA) or voltage (0…10V) outputs, or a serial RS485 output*, depending on the model.

Available models:

horizontal probe for duct mounting (TO),
vertical probe for wall mounting (TV),
probe with 2 or 5 m cable (TC),
fixed contact Pt100 probe for solar panel (TFP)

For the TO and TC versions, two probe temperature ranges are possible: standard -20…+80 °C and extended -40…+150 °C (option E). Temperature range of the thin film 1/3 DIN Pt100 probe for solar panel: -40…+85 °C.

Also available with LCD display (option L). Electronics working temperature: -20…+60 °C.

HD49… Series – Passive Temperature-Humidity Transmitters

HD49 transmitters are designed for temperature and humidity control in conditioning and ventilation applications (HVAC/BEMS) in the following sectors: pharmacy, museums, clean rooms, ventilation ducts, industrial and civil sectors, crowded places, canteens, auditoria, gyms, high-density farms, greenhouses, etc.

The models of the HD49.. series are passive transmitters and thus suitable to be inserted in a 4…20mA current loop.

Available models:

horizontal probe for duct mounting (TO),
vertical probe for wall mounting (TV),
probe with 2 or 5 m cable (TC),
fixed contact Pt100 probe for solar panel (TFP)

HD49 transmitters are also available with LCD display (option L).

Electronic working temperature: -20…+60 °C.

HVAC40 – HVAC Transmitters and Hygrostats

Over 40 years of experience in worldwide applications combined with a new design on accuracy, stability, simplicity and connectivity: this is the HVAC40 series. These transmitters and hygrostats measure temperature, relative humidity and dew point using an interchangeable relative humidity and temperature digital sensor.

The probe is available in three different versions:

fixed vertical probe for wall mounting
fixed probe with 2 m cable
fixed duct horizontal probe

Available outputs, depending on the model:

RS485 Modbus–RTU digital output
0…10 V voltage analog output
0…20 mA / 4…20 mA active current analog output
2-wire (current loop) 4…20 mA analog output
ON/OFF relay switch

Relay versions with settable alarm thresholds, hysteresis and delay and supplied as standard with LCD display. Optional LCD for all other versions.

The instruments are factory calibrated and ready for use.

HD2817T…Series – Interchangeable Probe Active Transmitters

The instruments of the HD2817T… series are transmitters, indicators, and ON/OFF regulators with data logging functions, they measure temperature and humidity. The instrument has a large, backlighted, graphical display.

The main feature of these instruments is their interchangeable probe. The probe can be replaced by the user without process interruption. Thus, the probe can be calibrated or repaired at a later time.

The instrument is available in different versions: with horizontal probe (S.TO), vertical probe (S.TV) or with remote probe (S.TC), having the probe connected to the electronics by means of a cable of various lengths.

The S.TO and S.TV probes are made of stainless steel AISI304, the S.TC probes can be of stainless steel AISI304 or Plastic material.

The probe is factory calibrated and ready to use, it is provided with a SICRAM2 module which stores the calibration data of the probe, allowing the interchangeability of the probes.

The instruments measure:

Temperature in Celsius or Fahrenheit temperature scale
Relative humidity

and calculate:

Absolute humidity
Mixing Ratio
Dew point

All models have both current and voltage outputs. Some models are fitted with two control relays and one alarm relay, configurable by the user. All models are fitted with a multistandard RS232/RS485 serial port and an auxiliary RS232C standard serial output. The RS485 serial output allows the management of more than one device in a network.

The data logger function allows to store the measures with a selectable storage interval.

The material of the S.TC…probes can be chosen between stainless steel AISI304 up to 150 °C or up to 170 °C (HT in the code) or PBT ( P in the code).

S.TC1.5 – S.TC1.5HT and S.TC1.5P – Probe L = 135 mm with cable 5 m
S.TC1.10 – S.TC1.10HT and S.TC1.10P – Probe L = 135 mm with cable 10 m
S.TC2.2 – S.TC2.2HT and S.TC2.2P – Probe L = 335 mm with cable 2 m
S.TC2.5 – S.TC2.5HT and S.TC2.5P – Probe L = 335 mm with cable 5 m
S.TC2.10 – S.TC1.10HT and S.TC2.10P – Probe L = 335 mm with cable 10 m

Horizontal probes:

S.TO1 – horizontal probe L = 135 mm
S.TO2 – horizontal probe L = 335 mm

Probes with cable for measurements in pipelines: S.TC2.480.2 and S.481.2.
