Routine water checks are easier when one handheld instrument covers the values technicians need on site. ECO 522 measures conductivity, salinity and TDS in liquids, making it suitable for aquaculture, aquarium work, surface water, drinking water, laboratories, quality assurance and osmosis service.
The wide measuring span reaches up to 100.0 mS/cm for conductivity, with salinity up to 50.0 g/kg and TDS up to 2000 mg/l. A durable 2-pole graphite measuring cell with integrated temperature measurement supports stable readings across changing water samples, while automatic measuring range shifting keeps operation straightforward.
For mobile use, the break-proof ABS housing with ingress protection (IP65/IP67), backlit 3-line display and overhead display function support practical handling in wet or changing environments. Hold and Min/Max functions help capture readings directly during field, lab or service work.
ECO 522 uses a 2-pole graphite measuring cell; ECO 523 uses a 2-pole stainless steel/PEEK measuring cell.
ECO 522 measures conductivity, salinity and TDS; ECO 523 measures conductivity, specific resistance and NaCl.
The meters offer deactivated or nLF compensation according to EN 27888; ECO 523 also includes LIN and NaCl modes.
Four long-lasting buttons operate the illuminated 3-line display, Hold function, Min/Max values and display rotation.
