To edit an accelerometer, or add a new one, press "Configure accelerometers" at the bottom of the sensors page.
The following page opens:
Select the sensor to be updated in the "Configuration number" box:
for the left channel, configuration No. 1 is reserved to "3056B2" type accelerometers, and No. 2 to "3200B5T" type accelerometers.
for the right channel, configuration No. 1 is reserved to "5313A" type accelerometers, No. 2 to "3233A" type accelerometers, and No. 3 to "3023A2" type accelerometers.
Input the accelerometer parameters, filling the fields in the table. The serial number, sensitivity and bottom scale data are in the Calibration Certification supplied with the accelerometer.
For the triaxial sensors, input the sensitivity for the three axes.
If the Certification gives the sensitivity as a function of frequency, use the sensitivity at 100Hz.
If you have a CDrom with the configuration file, insert it in the CD reader, press "LOAD SENSOR" at the bottom: in the next page, select the file in the CDrom, and press "Apply". The sensor data are shown on the display.
To send the new configuration file to the instrument, press "Send all configurations to the instrument". The following message will appear:
Answer "YES": the default setups, outlined in the "Default" page, are updated on the just edited accelerometers.
The following message will appear "Saving data... Please wait".
Once the configuration file has been sent to the instrument, you will get the following confirmation message:
Close the configuration page of the accelerometers.
The sensors configuration is now complete.
