Program Quick Guide

The Quick Guide is a short introduction to the "Sound Insulation" module of the NoiseStudio program.

This module allows the analysis of passive acoustic requirements of buildings.

Type of measurements

The NoiseStudio software allows performing a full series of calculations, according to ISO norms, on the measurements performed using the sound level meter in order to define the parameters of the buildings' passive acoustic requirements.

1. Average reverberation time - Equivalent absorption area (ISO 3382)

2. Sound absorption coefficient (ISO R354)

3. Sound reduction index (ISO 140/III)

4. Sound insulation index (ISO 140/IV)

5. Facade insulation index (ISO 140/V)

6. Laboratory impact-noise insulation (ISO 140/VI - VIII)

7. On site impact-noise insulation (ISO 140/VII)
